DC Presents, in association with Evil Hoodoo
39th & The Nortons
— From Over Haddon by way of Paris, 39th & The Nortons originated as a solo project of Nick Wheeldon, also of Parisian garage-psych(?) outfit Os Noctambulos. Now a fully fledged band, they mix 60s garage pop, psych and folk influences. In some parts described as «Carrying the songwriting torch of Gene Clark, the first album of the Byrds or Buffalo Springfield — swimming in that Cosmic American Music of the late 1960’s».
With releases on Stolen Body Records
, Croque Macadam
and Sheffield's own Evil Hoodoo
, they are a real treat for your ear holes.
— Straight outta London, The Roves produce perfectly crafted jangly 60s power-pop hits.
All Ashore exclamation mark
— Sheffield's finest exponents of perfect indie pop songs, we welcome them to Delicious Clam for the first time, ahead of their upcoming split single with our very own Thee Mightees.
