Friends of Village Aid and GeogSoc warmly invite you along to our first guest lecture of the term!
We are delighted to welcome Rob Hardie, who is studying for his PhD in the Department of Geography and is a member of Siid.
Rob will present his research on cross-sector partnerships for sustainable development in the global south, using case studies from the Niger Delta, Nigeria.
This offers a great opportunity to gain an insight into the research process at PhD level as well as interesting context-specific understanding of undertaking field work in the Niger Delta.
We welcome students, staff and the general public to this exciting Friends of Village Aid event at the University Arms, a relaxed setting where you can grab a drink and discuss with Rob following the lecture.
Following Rob's talk, you are all welcome to join a Friends of Village Aid meeting where we will be planning for upcoming events in the term.
